Since 1994, the Guelph Grotto has been scaling new heights in both the climbing world and the heart of the Guelph community. Join us as we celebrate three decades of epic climbs, incredible growth, and the amazing community that made it all possible. Whether you're a seasoned veteran or brand new to climbing, we invite you to be part of this milestone event. At the Grotto, anyone can climb—so everyone is welcome!
Pricing
Your day pass includes in-and-out access to the event, allowing you to enjoy rock climbing, the silks showcase, vendor market, artist showcase, cake, and more throughout the day!
Day pass proceeds will be going directly to the Guelph Food Bank. Purchase your day pass in-person when you get here.

$10 for each additional child

Please note: Gear rentals and participation in the boulder competitions are not included with this pass. All folks must have a valid waiver on file, this can be done ahead of time here. Family pass is 3 family members.
**There are additional fees related to the scramble comp ($5 for non-members to enter, FREE for members)
***There are additional fees related to spectating the Local Legends Climbing Showcase ($5 entry)

Youth Programs
We’re excited to offer two youth program time blocks during our 30th anniversary celebration, featuring fun, engaging, and facilitated activities for kids. Led by our amazing youth program staff, these sessions will give young climbers a chance to explore the wall and develop their skills in a supportive and exciting environment.

Silks Showcase
Don’t miss the spectacular Silks Showcase, where Lorraine and friends will dazzle you with incredible aerial performances. Their stunning display of strength, grace, and artistry will be a highlight of the afternoon. Prepare to be amazed as they take to the silks for a performance you won’t forget!

Community Spotlight
Join us as we celebrate and get to know some incredible organizations that also call Guelph Home. This is a great opportunity to engage with local initiatives, share ideas, and strengthen our community ties.

Vendor Market
Explore our vibrant vendor market during The Grotto's 30th anniversary celebration! Featuring a variety of local businesses and artisans, the market will showcase unique handmade goods and more. It's the perfect place to discover new products, support local vendors, and connect with the community - just in time for the holidays!

Artist Showcase
Calling all visual artists and photographers! As part of The Grotto's 30th anniversary celebration, we invite you to submit your work for our Artist Showcase. Selected pieces will be displayed in the gym over the next few months, offering a unique opportunity to share your creativity with the community. During this time above, artists will be in the gym and available to chat through their inspiration for their piece!

Artists can be found around the gym between 12pm-3pm!

Scramble Competition
Join us for our Community Bouldering Competition, an exciting scramble event open to climbers of all levels! This inclusive competition encourages participants to test their skills on a variety of boulder problems in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Whether you’re a seasoned climber or just starting out, this is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow climbers and showcase your abilities.

Local Legends
Prepare for an exciting display of skill and strength at our Invite-Only Bouldering Showcase! Featuring some of the top climbers in the region, this event promises to deliver thrilling performances as competitors tackle challenging problems designed to test their limits. Join us to witness the intensity and camaraderie of the climbing community as these elite athletes showcase their talents in a spectacular showdown!
There is an additional spectator fee of $5 for this event.
*Enjoy our Beta Brews beer collab with royal city brewery, a live DJ, and kick off the night watching some epic sends!

Meet & Greet
Join us for the Grotto Family Meet & Greet over at Royal City Brewery to wrap up our incredible day of celebration! This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow members of the Grotto community while enjoying our collaboration beer. Get to know the Perozzo family, who started it all, along with the extended staff that Dave affectionately refers to as his "kids." Share stories, make new friends, and reflect on the memories we’ve created together over the past 30 years. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
